We are a small team of professional photographers striving to create stunning images by capturing your intimate moments unobtrusively.

We specialise in capturing your special moments by providing personalised and flexible service to meet your specific requirements. At Wedding Arcade, we take pride in providing a variety of photography packages including - Studio Photography, Portraits, Outdoor Shoots and customised Albums.

Young couples love us for providing a wide spectrum of shooting styles that are based on a very modern photo journalism type approach, primarily seen during our coverage for the pre-wedding outdoor and studio sessions. These modern styles are then balanced with more contemporary approaches for covering formals that are interesting and expressive but retain just enough tradition to satisfy parents and grandparents.

Our customers know when working with our photographers that they are getting the high quality artistic expression of their unique story. They love working with our modern studios that use state of the art lighting equipment.

Our dedicated photographers give each couple the entire customer service experience they deserve. Because of this care, many of our couples stay connected with us for a long time after their wedding day, thereby letting us capture the next chapters in their lives in continuation of their story.

Wedding Arcade is run by Mandeep Rekhi, a Sydney based photographer who is fully accredited with Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (AIPP). He has a few selected photographers who work together with him as a team to provide diversity in coverages.

About Mandeep

Wedding Arcade represents culmination of Mandeep’s strong passion and ambition to bring smiles and life to pictures that narrate a story for themselves. Mandeep’s passion for studio and glamour photography has been an asset that has seen a natural progression towards mastering of these coveted skills for developing his love for wedding photography.

His early passion for photography stemmed from having sourced a Yashica SLR camera at the young school going age in 1970s, which helped him develop a keen interest in capturing nature and family shots. Then in 1980s, as a young engineering student he joined the State run Lions Photography Club and was fortunate enough to be mentored by leading professional photographers of the time. At a young age of 21, he was seen competing against some of the highly regarded photographers in the industry and won his first major award for “Thematic Photography” awarded to him at the Anand Utsav Festival of Arts. This motivated him to take the next step and soon in late 80s he was managing and operating his own Photographic Club and shooting at various prestigious events. He was soon awarded the “Colour In Photography” award for his four years of photography contributions at GNEC.

In 1990 he was successful in clearing the Union Public Service Commission exams and subsequently joined the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting - India. This was a big boost to his photography interest as it consolidated his technical skills while working with the then state of art camera and recording equipment and technicians at Doordarshan studios. His contributions to the All India Radio and Doordarshan TV program production units as Technical Assistant Director were well regarded.

After migrating to Australia in early 90s, he primarily focused on his engineering profession, but kept persuing photography on a part time freelance basis and developed a specialised interest in studio portraiture. He decided to enhance his qualifications in the emerging world of digital photography and started working with various photography schools and reputed institutions in Australia. After years of having gone through stringent development programs, he obtained his full accreditation with Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (AIPP).

His strong portfolio of wedding coverage extends home and abroad. Having being influenced by his birthplace – the exotic blend of culture and beauty that is India and the sprawling landscapes of Australia where he now resides, Mandeep’s work reflects a rich blend of the eastern and western cultures. He has a strong passion for studio photography and loves capturing portraits with a glaring distinction.

Peter-K and Radav who work with him, are both adept in the art of portraiture and action photography. They always come with some attention through their cheerful and responsive approach that works well with all generations.
